1. Mnet’s Rap Showdown
BTS’ performance on Mnet’s Rap Showdown received rave reviews from all over the world, and their raw, passionate performance of “Fire” has become one of the most memorable moments in K-Pop history. The show also introduced them to a new generation of fans when they won the grand prize, which included $100,000 and a chance to perform at Coachella Festival.
2. BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge
K-Pop acts are often seen as some of the best in the world when it comes to performing live, but few have been able to display their talent like BTS did on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. They performed “DNA” alongside Ed Sheeran for the first time ever live on radio and it blew everyone away with how well they performed despite being so young (they were only 14 years old at that point). It was a powerful moment for BTS and helped put them on the map as one of the most talented groups out there today.
3. Billboard Music Awards
BTS was nominated for Top Social Artist at this year’s Billboard Music Awards, but they unfortunately lost out to Bruno Mars
In addition to releasing music, BTS also made their reality show debut last year with “BTS Show!” and now they’re back with another reality show called “V Live: BTS Universe” (or “BTS Universe” for short).
The series follows the members of BTS as they explore different places around the world with their fans. It also gives them an opportunity to perform live concerts that have not been aired on television before.
The first episode was uploaded on July 10th, 2019 on YouTube channel “V Live: BTS Universe” where it quickly gained over 2 million views in just three days!
